The Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG5) of gender equality comes with many controversies; from the elites and the dregs, resulting into misconceptions around the subject. As the world is becoming more aware of Human rights, and how it concerns the females, passing the message that “female right isn’t about their gender but about the fact that they are human and also a member of the society who shouldn’t be sidelined by the virtue of difference in morphology and physiology”. Even though we cannot deny the rapid rate of increase in knowledge due to technology which puts more than enough information on our palms by just a click; we can access beyond the world around us, it is imperative that we understand the core of gender equality advocacy and not get the message twisted from the many jargons that we see and read on the internet.

No Nudity
Many things go wrong in the name of fashion and it is important we don't take a break on some messages because the other message will keep going viral! You see it virtually on every fashion page and I wonder the kind of confusion this could bring to the mind of a young girl because....
Celebrities are celebrated in it,but....
Mother's are Nursing in it,
Fashion slayers are displayed in it,
Role models are awarded in it,
Girls are learning from it,
Ladies are loving it,
Companies advertise with it,
We need to keep singing this into the ears of every girl child and make it one of their daily rhythm that ;
Nudity is not synonymous to beautiful
Nudity isn't attractive
Nudity isn't gorgeous
Nudity isn't fashionable
Nudity isn't just about being naked
Nudity is also being naked even in a cloth
...............................................
It doesn't matter who is wearing it
The cost of purchasing it makes no meaning
I careless who introduces the style
It is still not STYLISH if your nakedness isn't COVERED.

SELFISH SEEKERS
THE SELFISH SEEKERS
It was a very hard pill to swallow when I heard that these people do nothing for free. How could it be!
It was in one of the cities in Nigeria, A driver was short of small denominations of the Nigerian currency which he desperately needed to settle one of his passengers.

DAPCHI GIRLS; game of pains
This would seem so unrelated to many Nigerians but it is expedient we see the contradictory relationship between the 110 abducted School girls from Government Girls Science Technical College, Yobe State on 19th February 2018 and the Maiden combined convocation/11th anniversary of Yobe State University on 24th of February 2018; few days after the abduction.

MY DECLARATION
Fellow Nigerians,
I make this declaration with a heavy heart and tears in my
eyes.
I weep for Nigeria, my beloved country!
Nations which were in the same league with us at
independence have since joined the developed world, while we are daily retrogressing rather than make advancement.

#1in3 Africa
Under the cosmetics are unappealing faces, our apparels are our covers to the pains we bear. More often than not we want to sweep our agony under the carpet of hypocrisy until there is a bulge.

THE ME I NEVER KNEW
THE ME I NEVER KNEW
I am a 26 year old lady and my name is *Abiodun. Right from my tender age I had made up my mind to say NO to pre-marital sex. I had some lust while in secondary school as a teenager and while on campus as a youth, but I was able to still hold on to my words despite peer pressure. Since when I was young, I have made some rigid decisions- I consciously make them and so I rarely change them.
