What About Guilt?

The level of wisdom possessed by Homo- sapiens and their ability to create makes this higher creature susceptible to errors and mistakes; fatal and minor. Each day present to us an opportunity to learn, to be tested, examined and graded. I will not forget to mention my primary school days in this article, when my teacher would put 'eyes' and 'ears' on the zero(0) mark to shame a student.

This we also experience when all we could get out of life examination in a bid to create and use our senses is a score of zero, and other factors such as feeling of failure, loss of whatsoever draw the 'eyes' and 'ears' making the issue more complicated and shameful. At that moment, the student would either hide his/her script or publicly display it and laugh about it together with friends(making it appear he/she doesn't mind the awful score or the design), deep inside, shame has flooded his/her bone marrow but has only chosen to wear the "it doesn't matter" mask to save his or her face. Same way, we sometimes respond to life issues by pretending "it doesn't matter" just to protect ourselves.

Human's life is not void of imperfection, neither is falling to error a suicidal experience. As incredible as human brain functions, it doesn't function to 'auto-delete' unpleasant experiences. Our neurons work together in bringing to our remembrance both painful and pleasant experiences.
Guilt from past errors and actions is big enough to change the face and personality of it bearer because it forms our thinking and actions. The ugly experience of the past whispers discouragement to our ears and gives an empty threat about the future, suggesting to us reasons why it is inexpedient to get back on our feet; keep knocking us down to our knees and we daily swim in the pool of regret.

The feeling of DEPRESSION, REJECTION and IRRELEVANCE is woven into the fabrics of our minds by GUILT and our real self is no longer known/revealed. Self deceit is practically impossible and so we live daily by fanning up the flame of regret and guilt: though we keep smiling, covered with beautiful apparel and appealing makeover.
Living a sincere and genuine life in spite of our past errors and mistakes is a strength we need to get us back on our feet. Remember that to err is human, but to be destroyed by it lies the danger.

...the student with the awful score could otherwise sit tight and give his/her best to other tests. No experience is enough to make you irrelevant!! The more days we live to see, the more test we have to face.

Put regrets and guilt behind, face each day with strength and vigor.

You are not just a woman with wounds and womb, you are one with wings and wit- fly and soar high!
