DAPCHI GIRLS; game of pains

This would seem so unrelated to many Nigerians but it is expedient we see the contradictory relationship between the 110 abducted School girls from Government Girls Science Technical College, Yobe State on 19th February 2018 and the Maiden combined convocation/11th anniversary of Yobe State University on 24th of February 2018; few days after the abduction.

What an excellent ceremony, and an indicator to the development of the state with an increased number of graduates produced by the state university. This to me is beyond a mere celebration but another source of inspiration to many young ones in the state, flaming the desire of many to wear a gown that can only be afforded by an academic achievement. Unfortunately, I doubt to what extent the celebration has been able to inspire considering the cry in the state for not just missing children but missing SCHOOL children.

The fertile minds of these young ones have not just been left fallow, rather, they are also confused of what exactly is to be sown in it; too much of negative news, negative experiences, minds encumbered with fear, hopelessness and sorrow. The news of the abducted Chibok Girls is yet to become a stale news with over 100 of them still in captivity for almost 4 years, How do we get the young girls in the northern part of Nigeria motivated and inspired!!

Many activities of both government and non governmental Organisations are channeled towards the development of the Girl Child. The campaigns, support and partnership from International organizations on the Education of Girl Child in the 21st Century and insurgency happening concurrently in our Nation- including the abduction of School girls is just like a push & pull effort- an inspiration here demoralization there, which only leads to frustration and stagnation.
In the midst of chaos where then is the inspiration for;
...children who are specially encouraged to go to school!
...young girls who are forced to marry!
....parents who needs reorientation to allow their girl child to go to school!

This is to further proof that there is a limit to which an external motivation could go; it is limited and unstable!. SELF MOTIVATION is a rigid, stable and unlimited kind of motivation that doesn't depend on happenings in our environment, it is a dogged kind of motivation that thrives in the midst of challenges, unmoved by "political drama", the kind of motivation that keeps pushing, even when an opposite force is applied. Only with this can every effort on the development of the Girl Child be highly productive.

We all need inspiration and motivation, Let's get it from within. Young and Old!

The news of the release of some Chibok school girls (except Liah Sharibu, the christian girl who fail to denounce Christ) was a news of relief on 21st of March 2018 after the issuance of a 7- day notice to the federal government by the #BringBackOurGirls movement on 14th of March 2018
to " without further delay bring back our 112Chibok girls and 110 dapchi girls"

This is a plea to the Nigerian government to put an end to this political "Hide & Seek game" at the expense of millions of innocent lives and the future of our country.

Nigerians are aware and awake!
BRING BACK OUR 112 CHIBOK GIRLS & LIAH SHARIBU
